The program provides Electronic Cash Rewards and Prizes for purchases made by the members. The Electronic Cash Rewards may be redeemed at Ausfuel Rewards service stations. The Member agrees with and acknowledges the following:

  • The Member's Ausfuel Rewards Card or another card approved by Ausfuel Rewards can be linked to the Member's Electronic Cash Rewards accounts.
  • Electronic Cash Rewards are kept in a trust account and calculated as a percent of the Member's spending. At the discretion of the participating merchant some products may not generate any Electronic Cash Rewards or may have specific Electronic Cash Rewards associated with them.
  • Electronic Cash Rewards must be cleared before they become available for redemption. The Member's accrued Electronic Cash Rewards must not exceed $1,000 limit at any point in time. If the Member account balance has reached the limit, no more Electronic Cash Rewards shall be accrued by the Member until the balance is reduced through redemptions. The maximum Electronic Cash Reward obtainable for a single purchasing transaction is $1,000.
  • The Member can initiate the following transactions: "Purchase", "Redemption" (withdrawal of Electronic Cash Rewards to pay for goods or services), "Return" (return of goods and services), "Coupon Prize Redemption", "Get Balance", "PIN (Personal Identification Number) Change", "Transaction Report", "Card Activation", "Smart Card Details" (applicable for smart card holders only).
  • "Purchase", "Card Activation" and "Smart Card Details" transactions are usually performed offline. All other transactions may require an immediate phone connection to the Ausfuel Rewards network. If incurred, the cost of the phone call may be deducted from the Member's Electronic Cash Rewards account. The Membership card should be presented before making any transaction. The Member can view transaction details and Electronic Cash Rewards account balance on the Ausfuel Rewards web site, free of charge. If the Member disputes any transaction, Ausfuel Rewards will require a proof of claim, including receipts and Electronic Cash Reward dockets. Ausfuel Rewards intends to resolve any dispute within 20 working days from the date of receiving the claim.
  • Participating merchants enable Coupon Prizes that could be won while making a "Purchase" transaction.
  • The Member must notify Ausfuel Rewards of any change of personal details affecting the membership records. The notification may be done using Ausfuel Rewards Membership Application form or via the Ausfuel Rewards web site.
  • Ausfuel Rewards may vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time upon the notification on the Ausfuel Rewards web site or in the public notice columns of major daily newspapers. Thirty (30) days prior notice will be provided for any material changes to the Terms and Conditions.
  • Fees and charges mentioned in these Terms and Conditions are inclusive of GST.
  • The Member must keep PIN, issued at the time of membership card initialisation, secret and secure. If the PIN is compromised or lost, a replacement PIN may be requested. PIN replacement transaction involves a $2 fee. The new PIN will be mailed to the Member's postal address.
  • To obtain a replacement Ausfuel Rewards Membership Card the Member must complete an Application form. The card replacement fee is $2.
  • Any accrued benefits given in error will be deducted from the Member's account. Any tax, liability or duty arising from the Member's participation in the program is the responsibility of the Member.
  • If the Member returns the goods or cancels the services for which Electronic Cash Rewards were allocated, the refund will exclude the amount of Electronic Cash Rewards already used by the Member. If the allocated Electronic Cash Rewards remain in the Member's account, the Electronic Cash Rewards will be reversed and money paid for the goods or services refunded in full.
  • $1 per month Unused Account Administration Fee will be applied to the Member's Electronic Cash Rewards account if no transactions are made by the Member for a period of six (6) consecutive months.
  • If the merchant's POS terminal malfunctions, the Member's transactions stored on the terminal during the day of malfunction may be lost. To recover a lost transaction the Member is required to make a transaction recovery request, present membership; provide the original Electronic Cash Rewards docket and a copy of the purchase receipt. The merchant will not be liable whatsoever for any delay in the processing or loss of Member's transaction data resulting from the equipment or data communication malfunction.
  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Northern Territory. The Member submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia.
